Family Day Out

On Saturday, met Mummy and Lil Brat at IKEA Tampines with MINE in the afternoon for shopping. The day ended well with 2 new bed frames, 2 mattresses, a whole lot of new pillows, a new optical mouse (from Courts because my old mouse was half dead) and a toy for Hershey.

Thank God for Leslie (my cousin) who came to pick us up with the stuff or we had no idea how we 4 ladies would go back home. Headed for dinner at Block 201, Tampines then headed home. Simon and the rest of the boys were downstairs our place on standby to help carry the things up.

By the time we settled everything, it was already 2300 so MINE and I headed straight to MoS from my place. The moment we stepped into MoS, we headed over to Maggi's table to celebrate her birthday and I immediately was shoved with 2 glasses of Champagne (My ultimate favourite alcoholic drink) and a glass of 3/4 filled of Vodka and 1/4 of Coke, all in 30 minutes.

Left around 0300 cause it was getting boring and headed over to Liang Court's Macs to buy supper/breakfast and hopped into a cab back to MINE's. Showered, ate and fed Hershey his favourite Fillet O' Fish and headed to bed.

Sunday, was family day again. Came home with MINE to meet Mummy, Simon, Lil Brat and Leslie to head to ECP for cycling and dinner because it was the last day of CNY. Yes, you guys read it right, cycling. I can't cycle for those who don't know and on Sunday, it was my first time on 2 wheels.

I swear I was so scared that I wanted to pee in my pants. Rented a twin with MINE and it started out pretty okay until she kept pedaling so fast that my feet went off the pedals and I was screaming my head off. It was pretty funny actually.

Then mummy took over halfway on our way back and MINE was more than happy to cycle alone instead of having to "drag" a burden (Me) behind. Mummy was more stable with her pedaling and I did not have to scream at her to slow down unlike MINE. -glares-

After returning our bicycles, we headed for dinner at Long Beach Restaurant. The food wasn't really good and the service was crap. Bloody 300 bucks for a dinner for 6 and the manager was actually sarcastic about us giving the exact amount and not tipping.

Dream on about tips when you don't even give good service, especially when you're in Singapore. I'm sure the 10% service charge is enough of tips, asshole.

So I have a brand new bed, with a brand new mattress and I cycled on 2 wheels! -very proud of myself- Hur.
