I'm going to miss being 18
Being 18 has brought a whole lot of eye openers to me. Able to club legally, buy ciggs and smoke legally blah blah what not. Then suddenly I realise, Andrea its time to grow up now. Hai. Can I don't grow up? I'd rather stay this way forever. Really. With all my friends around me now. I mean, you'll never know what's going to happen 10 years down the road. I may lose contact with some of my friends and what not. Then soon, (actually in less than 6months) SIP is here and ready for me then another 1 year later, ta daa, I graduate. Bahhh. I'm going to miss school. I want to do my degree, but my family has no bling bling. So yeahh, working comes first for me. I console myself by saying, experience and passion in the Tourism industry is worth more than a mere degree. I know, dream on yeahh. Fucktard. Bahh.
New Year Resolutions (let's just have 3):
1. Wake up dammit Andrea! Wake up!!
2. And stop biting those fingernails. Or those fingers for that matter. (no more nails)
3. Learn to treasure everything around you girl! Not everyone is so lucky. You're problems are pea sized compared to those in the third world countries.

Please Pray
Guess everyone has heard about the 9.0 Richter Scale earthquake in the region already, causing the tsunamis which have taken away thousands ans thousands of lives. I really am thankful that everyone in Singapore is safe. That it did not affect us. At the same time, please pray for all the people who have lost their lives or who are injured in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives and Indonesia.
Shall digress here. I'm sick again. Like for fuck's sake how many times must I be sick. The fever has been going on and off. Fuck please. I've missed so many tutorials already please. God. Didn't even go for work today. Bahhh. Time to go watch the telly and stone my way through and study for POM. Dammit.

Joyeux Noel
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year. :)) Let's get down to the details of my Christmas.
Handphone rang about 0700, looked at the number then I remembered I was on standby for work in the morning. Damned. At 0900 I finally reached town. Dang. With only 1 an a half hours of sleep the night before, I was a literal walking zombie. Made myself an extra shot Latte and sat down with a Ciggy. Thank god it was Roger's shift or else I wouldn't be able to get a smoke break (No.1: Without Asking, No.2: "Free Flow" of Coffee) the moment I arrive for work. Stoned my way through until lunch break then headed over to Singtel to get my Christmas Cookies from Shawn! :) After which, stoned the remaining time away till I went to meet Ryna to collect my present from her! Thanks for the CD girl! So sweet of you. So yeahh, spent Christmas Eve's morning stoning away.
Fell asleep on the bus on my way home. I felt like I haven't slept for eons. Hah. Lazed around till about 1900 plus then left for town. Talking about town, according to my plans, I had no intention or what so ever not to head to town. I regret not keeping to the original plans. So town was fucking jammed pack, and I really mean fucking. Like for fuck's sake, the whole population of Singapore was there please. Aunties, Uncles, Mutts, Minahs, Ah Lians, Ah Bengs, Bangladesh, Thai, China workers, tourists blah, you name it.
So I decided to be all so smart and stop at Somerset bus stop instead of Orchard as there was a major jam. In the end, it took me half an hour to walk from Somerset to Orchard. By the time I got to Orchard, I was cursing and swearing at everyone, including Aunties and Kids, my head was pounding like mad as it always does when there's a huge crowd. Luckily I bumped into my darling Marilyn outside Topman, she was waiting for Junior and I was waiting for Beef. Crapped for awhile then our wild cat left for Zouk. Beef and I decided we were staying where we were and asked Leong to walk over after she finishes work. Took Leong 20 mins from Mango, Shawhouse to Topman. God. Then we decided that we were all hungry and headed to Coffee Club aka. where I was working less than 6 hours ago. Took us about 20 mins this time as we walked by the back. Thank god I thought of it.
Ordered 2 Christmas set meals and the 3 of us pigged out like there was no tmr. Haha. It was fun. Leong and Beef were fighting over the Fondue, leaving the Mudpie all to Andrea. HEH. Left around 30 mins past midnight. This was when all the DRAMA started. Everyone on the streets were spraying the snow thingy ever since I got to town. Leong and I were kinda allergic to the scent of the spray or the gas that emits from it and plus it was literal soap. So all we had in mind was to siam it. BUT some fucker sprayed right into my eyes, then another fucker sprayed into Beef's face and our everdearest Beef almost fought with this Ah Beng. So from that moment on, our moods just went downhill. Tired, pissed and in urgent need of answering nature's calls (Leong & Beef) we cabbed to Quek's place.
I shall not even mention the cab fare. Like what Beef said, really Merry Christmas to the Cab Uncle man. By the time we reached, it was almost 0200 plus. On our way there, my sister called me crying, which got me so fucking worried. Shall not say what it is about as I think she wants it to remain as private as possible. Played with Mumley (She's so fucking CUTE LA), then played Pictionary. It was so funny, I had such a good time but I was dying for the bed. Heh. Leong, Beef and I slept on 1 bed. I repeat, 1 SINGLE bed. Honestly I was rather comfortable and I do not remember snatching the blankie from you Leong. Haha.
Was awaken by I can't rem who around 1100 plus in the morning. Like what? 5 hours of sleep only. Yall bloody hell can't let me sleep in peace right?! Tsk. Had breakfast and then played my first game of Mahjong. Haha. I quite get the concept of the game. Pretty much like Dai Dee honestly. Which only means, I'm terrible. Stacey came over, played somemore then went down for late lunch. Then headed to Stacey's place for more Mahjong, Beef was complaining like hell by now as she did not enjoy the game at all. Slacked here and there blah blah then left Quek's place around 2100 plus.
*yawns. Its been a real DETAILED account of my X'mas & X'mas Eve. Now to enjoy my V.C Andrews Book from Beef. Then to sleep. I don't want to work tmr. *grumbles.

A New Layout For A New Year
Finally I'm done with my new layout. I thought I would take 2 weeks + buttttt. I did it in 3 days! So proud of myself. After blogging for a year plus, finally am able to do a simple and clean layout from scratch by myself. Of course I had a hard time. Bahhh. But its over and done with. At least I know noone has e exact same layout. Wheeee~ *beams. So anyhoos, took away the tag board. As those who have been reading my blog for a long time, I didn't actually have a tag board but got it for my previous Sassy Chic Skin as the image required one. So yeahh. Its back to my dear old trusty commenting board. Its under every post for those who do not know.

It's Christmas Time In The City

Beef's finally got a job! Well, technically not yet but she has one confirmed one and another in the process of selection. Finally after slightly over half a year. At least she's got a job to usher in Year 2005! :))
So anyhoos, yesterday met Beef after AirBusDist Lab. Boy was lab brain wrecking, the 1 million types of codes to remember for Amadeus is nuts, BUT I enjoyed it. :)) Been looking forward to Airline Business what. So we were roaming around town till about 8 plus when I remembered Dear Sel had some performance in front of Ngee Ann City. Went to check that "long lost" bestie of mine. Haha. So cute, she looked 16 years old dancing away on that stage. Haha. Even Zhenhui agreed with me. Had dinner with them after that. It was good. So glad to see you my sweets. After like almost a month plus. Miss you so! Please take care of that cough yeahh. We'll meet up with Ducky soon. :))
After procrastinating for half the day on whether to go down to Monks to meet Leong, we went down. Lol. Haven't been there for like half a year? The place is still rather like a ghost town. Everyone there was familiar. The usual regulars. Initially the plans were to just go down, sit outside, check out the place then go home, BUT we went in anyhoos. Hah! Bumped into Dear old Peline there, its always nice to see old friends, considering I knew her since Primary 5 or 6. Danced a lil here and there then left around 0120. Music was good did I mention? Heh.
Beef dragged me outta her bed at 0800! As she had the 2nd interview at TTSH. After the interview, headed for a Rabbit hunt. Beef has been wanting one for the longest time, especially after the 'ugly' Duey. Managed to convince her to catch The Polar Express! Wheee. It was a really good movie. The graphics were fantastic, the storyline better still. Puts you in the X'mas mood. So anyhoos, was uber tired headed back to her place to sleep then cabbed home. *yawns. I still have to do my tutorials, Beef's X'mas present and discuss the details of the X'mas Eve outing with Beef, Duck, & Leong.

The O.C. was devastatingly upsetting. Note: I used devastatingly. As most of you would know, I'm such a HUGE fan of O.C. (I'm even on the Fan Mail list) Today was the Season Finale. *sob sob. Believe it or not, I cried. But oh well, America's already showing the 2nd Season, 6th Episode! Like hello. Channel 5, please bring back The O.C. latest by next Jan. Please please please. Although I already know what's gg to happen but still! How about I give you guys a sneak peak. Ryan, Marissa, Seth and Summer all have new partners. 2 hot dudes and 2 hot babes. *grins.
School has been like crap for me. Why? I've missed 2 Accounting lectures already. And neither did I turn up for tutorial. Then we headed to buy my VNC Patent Black Flats! I've been wanting to get them since last semester. Yay! I finally got them. Wore them immediately and now. I have 2 blisters. Bahhh. Bleeding please. Ouch. The sacrifice for beauty.

Mediacorp?!
Diao. Just received this weird phone call from Mediacorp studios. Asked if I was interested to be a model?! Part-time actress?!(The kind you act in a really small role or don't even say a line) Hello!~ I can't act for nuts nuts nuts. Are they serious or what?! Where did they get my number in the first place?! Anyhoos, rejected them. Acting ain't my cup of tea. Remember how I freaked out about Drama for Arts Appreciation? Yes, ask my fellow groupmates for the drama thingy. My acting was damned sad. Lol. So yeah, could be my claim to fame. But I decided to give it a pass. :)
School has been good so far. Rather relaxing., Heh. Can see a few other school mates staring my way. It ain't my fault that I have only 4 modules and 1 CDS. HAH. Had my first French tutorial this morning. I'm so dead. Having a real hard time with the pronunciation of the words. All I can remember is Je M'applle Andrea, Et Toi, Bonjour, Bonsoir, Comment Ca Va, Ca Va Diem, Merci. Don't even know if I spelt them wrongly. Like good luck for my vocab test in 2 weeks.

Its been coming 1 year & 8months, meaning we've known each other for about 1 year 9 months? Lol. Thank you for the ups and downs in the relationship, for making me so happy and tickled by your jokes (which I hardly find funny anymore) and for letting me learn many things I did not know about myself. Its been a great year and a half with you. Through the joy and the tears, I hope this lasts as long as fate and destiny allows. Thanks for all the yummy food and beautiful gifts, each and every one holds a different meaning to me. Okay, errmm, I am at a loss for words but I guess you know the message I'm trying to put across. I <3 You!

The Adventures of Sulking outside Zouk
After watching Singapore Idol Finals with Beef, Quek and Leong at Leong's place, we left for Newsroom Bar. After Beef's 3rd Gin Tonic, Quek's 2nd Whiskey Dry, My 2nd Beer and 1st Whiskey Dry, Leong's 5th (I lost count) Shot and god knows how many other cup of god knows what, we headed to Zouk. So Beef and Leong were all giggly on the cab. The two morons couldn't stop laughing at NOTHING. So I was pretty sure both of them were really high, which I knew was an understatement 10 mins later. We reached Zouk and were welcomed with a mammoth queue. Saw Ling, Mandy and Jasmine and they were leaving so we took over their position towards the front of the queue. Suddenly, Beef and Leong were leaning towards the railing, Leong started puking and Beef kept screaming she wanted to sit down. Leong sat down and puked. Beef was brought to the other side by me where she lay on the ground. I had the worst luck when I bumped into the ex from hell. Then Quek ran to get water and 2 whole bloody hours was just spent OUTSIDE Zouk. Not to mention, both started crying when I scolded them and Leong had to puke on my hand. Then started crying that she wants to go home. So home it was. BAH. My last time clubbing before school re-opens on Monday. Beef and Leong you both owe Quek and I BIG time. But I still love you both. -hugs. So yeah. The adventures of sulking outside Zouk. Hahaha. I was freaking furious. Ask Queky my Bestie. Thanks for everything anyway Bestie!
Finally got the finalised timetable. Yay! Its pretty much the same. I'm in 2T02 and I've got French for CDS. Whoopee! Anyhoos, there's lessons on Monday cause Airline Business Tut and Labs start on the first week, just like all CDS. Bahh. Oh well, I'm off to watch Amazing Race.
After watching Singapore Idol Finals with Beef, Quek and Leong at Leong's place, we left for Newsroom Bar. After Beef's 3rd Gin Tonic, Quek's 2nd Whiskey Dry, My 2nd Beer and 1st Whiskey Dry, Leong's 5th (I lost count) Shot and god knows how many other cup of god knows what, we headed to Zouk.
